Why the name Sherpa?

We are respectful of the fact that “Sherpa” is first and foremost the name given to a person of Tibetan origin living in the mountains of the Himalayas. We are certainly not them. In recent decades, however, the term “Sherpa” has also come to mean a mountain guide, one who skillfully leads climbers on their ascent up Mount Everest.

We very much see ourselves as serviceable guides on your branding and design journey. We aspire to take your creative to a much higher place. Being with you every step of the way.

How do you price your services?

When it comes to design and branding there are rarely any cookie cutter jobs, so we estimate each project on an individual basis. We are, however, known for our excellent value, especially as a lot of our in-depth consulting work is included in the price. Our BrandMap comprehensive deep-dive is included in the cost of the project.

Clients also like the fact that (barring a major change in project scope) there are never any surprise charges at the end of the job. We do our best to be upfront about the total price from the start and honour our quote.

Do you do creative work for companies outside of Canada?

Yes indeed. We are based in Toronto but love our International clients. In fact, we lead a number of branding initiatives for companies in the United States. Outside of Canada and the US, we have worked with clients in Australia, Hong Kong, and England.

I have designers in-house, but they are swamped, and I don’t have enough bandwidth to meet my deadline. Can you help?

Absolutely. Sherpa can provide extra design assistance on a short or long-term basis to help companies meet targets and tight deadlines. We can also provide special expertise, like illustration, videography, or photography.

We can send our creatives in to work with your team in your location. Or, we can work for you remotely as an outsourced resource team, doing the work at our studio and delivering when complete.
