Anthesis Provision : Upcycled food fest
It’s time to get UP(cycled)
The Upcycled Food Fest is about reducing food waste and supporting local—at the same time! Bringing together delicious, sustainable, locally upcycled meals to consumers, restaurants, grocery stores, universities, and food banks, they are on the forefront of changing how we look at food. Upcycled foods use ingredients that otherwise would not have gone to human consumption, are procured and produced using verifiable supply chains, and have a positive impact on the environment.
The Challenge
The client wanted a fresh and engaging look that would raise awareness of The Upcycled Food Fest and its goal of a circular food system that would reduce food waste in Ontario and abroad. The campaign message needed to utilize social, public relation / media, products, and participating restaurants to generate traction. The design also needed to align well within the Provision brand look and feel.
The Solution
Working with the client, we develop the logo, website, social content, event signage, and meal kit packaging to launch the festival. Working with Bubblegum Canada PR, we helped create event material for tv promotion and a series of videos. The campaign had a total of 109 media hits, generating 8,999,624 media impressions and a quality score of 89.82% for the Upcycled Food Fest launch.
Working with Brianna and Wade is always a pleasure. However challenging or unconventional the brief, they always rise to the occasion, designing exciting creative that opens doors and turns heads. Nowhere was this more true than with the relatively unexplored territory of Upcycled Food, where the brand developed by the Sherpa team helped garner nearly 10 million media impressions.
