Real Food for Real Kids

A multiple award-winning company recognized for excellence and innovation, Real Food for Real Kids (RFRK) is a leading healthy catering company for child care centres, schools, and camps. RFRK proudly serves nutritious meals and snacks to over 20,000 children throughout the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area every day. We worked with our client, Provision Coalition, to design a portage map to implement an ERP (Enterprise resource planning) system that provides accurate information, when they need it, to feed more kids real food. We packed our bags with iconography, illustration, layout, and design, and plotted the route for the client to arrive at camp with key dates and milestones checked along the way.
Why A Portage?
A portage is the toughest part of a long paddling trip when you hit a point where the canoe needs to be lifted out of the water to keep going. Everyone does their part to carry gear to the other side so that the journey can continue and you can make it to the interesting, less-traveled path. The most rewarding trips have these obstacles, and it seems fitting to recognize that going from Filemaker to Business Central will have many ups and downs but take Real Food for Real Kids into its most interesting territory yet!
